Description The Accountant contributes in preparing and collecting all information needed to prepare asset, liability, revenue, and expenses and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information. They manage day-to-day operations of accounting department following strict procedures and guidelines. This includes documenting transactions, delivering reports, and recommending actions.
 Main Duties:

 - Fulfils the operational requirements of the accounting department, which covers day-to-day activities ensuring all standards are followed.
 - Performs data entry and reviews payment vouchers and journal entries on workamajig.
 - Manages petty cash and day to day cash in-flows and out-flows.
 - Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions; resolving discrepancies.
 - Develops and maintains internal control and effective accounting system and policies for the set up.
 - Contributes in building all management reports in a timely basis and high accuracy.
 - Compiles financial information to prepare financial statements including monthly and annual reports.
 - Maintains financial documents in compliance with agreed upon policies and procedures.
 - Executes payroll practices.
 - Ensures accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end closure.
 - Establishes and monitors the implementation and maintenance of accounting control procedures
 - Work closely with external parties such as banks, vendors, clients and consultants.
 - Handles invoicing process from the beginning till the end. This includes reporting delayed payments and late invoicing.
 - Prepares all documents and information required by auditors.
 - Maintains taxes and social insurance compliance.
 - Secures financial information by completing database backups.
 - Protects organizations value by keeping information confidential.



Qualifications Requirements: - A bachelor degree in accounting/ finance or similar - 1-2 relevant professional experience required.
