General Motors Egypt is hiring a “Cost Accountant” Accountabilities: - Coordinate physical inventory counts and cycle counts - Investigate cycle counting variances and resolve issues - Update standard costs in the bill of materials - Review standard and actual costs for inaccuracies - Validate the cost of goods sold as part of the month-end close - Conduct ongoing process constraint analyses - Perform cost accumulation tasks as a member of the target costing group Requirements: - Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting - Minimum of 3 solid years in the Accounting/Finance field in a Manufacturing Environment (At least 1 year in Cost Accounting section), (CMA / CPA / IFRS DIP.) certification is preferred - Must have a strong Cost systems background and have excellent analytical skills; sound understanding of accounting principles. - Ability to accurately prepare daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports - Strong Written and Spoken English - Strong Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint skills To apply send your resume to apply.gmegypt@gm.com with subject line: Cost Accountant
