As a Jr Accountant, you will support the journalizing of the operating cycle, month-end closing procedures, internal auditing, and year-end annual audit.
Key Accountabilities:
Creating All Types of Sales Invoices and Credit / Debit Memos - Creating, Printing, filling, scanning and sending sales documents to clients, either through e-mail or hard copies
Support AR Managing and Preparing Journal Entries - Follow up, collection, and allocation of clients’ payments. Reviewing clients’ statements & aging on a regular basis and asking their balance confirmations, and solving related matters that may exist
Support Three Way Match and AP Cycle - Posting the AP invoice and re-classifying expenses disbursement if needed, reviewing the petty cash and expenses reports, and allocate them to their respective GLs. Preparing the payment run and creating government bills
Preparing Monthly Closing Tasks - Run the FA depreciation, Review the intercompany movement, preparing amortization and accruals JV entries, Preparing Sub-contractors accruals entries. Preparing Bank Reconciliation and post all pending entries. Open PO and Stock issuance review
Assist the Year-End Audit & Internal Audit Processes - Support the GL Schedule preparation and reviewing it with Auditors after Finance manager approval, Assist & Prepare required Information as requested by Auditors during the Audit process. Support reviewing the policies and procedures and communicating the findings to our internal auditors

Comply with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and escalating to the line manager on required actions

Perform other related duties or assignments as directed by the Line Manager

Minimum Requirements:
BS/BA degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field. , or equivalent business experience
ACCA Certification or equivalent is preferred
2 - 4 years of related work experience.

Excellent knowledge of Excel and its functions (Pivot, VLookup, IF, Sumif, etc.) + MS other tools
Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, deadline-oriented, research skills, knowledge of company policies and procedures and standard industry practices, confidentiality, data entry skills, awareness of accounting and corporate finance; information management; problem-solving skills; solid Excel skills and experience of automated accounting systems
