🎯 Main Responsibilities
- Apply sharp financial analysis to drive informed decisions and performance optimizations across the company
- Communicate complex financial insights clearly through compelling reports and recommendations
- Encourage continuous improvement by identifying trends, optimizing processes, and seeking opportunities for value creation
- Analyze and interpret financial data from diverse sources, including accounting systems, market research, industry reports, and internal budget spend
- Develop and maintain financial models to assess trends, predict outcomes, and evaluate investment opportunities
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports and presentations covering P&L statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, forecasts, and performance commentary
- Conduct deep dives into P&L movements, identify underlying drivers, and provide actionable recommendations for improvement
- Manage and analyze budgets and income statements, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business objectives
- Implement and optimize internal financial processes to enhance efficiency and data integrity
- Monitor key financial metrics, track performance against budget and forecasts, and identify areas for risk mitigation and cost reduction
- Proactively identify trends and opportunities through market research and data analysis, recommending strategic actions based on insights
- Develop innovative reporting solutions to address ad-hoc requests from upper management, providing valuable financial context and decision support
- Perform additional tasks as needed, including reviewing reimbursements, reconciling accounts, and contributing to team projects
🏆 Experience needed
- 2+ years of experience in financial analysis
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling, data interpretation, and trend analysis
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor financial information for diverse audiences
- Experience preparing and analyzing financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to meeting deadlines
- Advanced MS Excel skills (creating spreadsheets and using financial functions)
