Job Title: Freight Operation Supervisor [Freight Forwarding Experience is a MUST]

Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and proactive Freight Operation Supervisor with a strong background in freight forwarding to lead our freight operations team within the supply chain and logistics department.
Responsibilities:
* Oversee all aspects of freight forwarding operations, including booking, documentation, customs clearance, and cargo handling.
* Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and requirements.
* Develop relationships with freight carriers, shipping lines, airlines, and other vendors.
* Negotiate rates, contracts, and service agreements with vendors to ensure cost-effective and reliable freight services.
* Act as a primary point of contact for key clients and provide exceptional customer service.
* Address client inquiries, concerns, and escalations promptly and professionally.
* Ensure accurate and timely completion of import/export documentation, including bills of lading, shipping manifests, and customs declarations.
* Maintain compliance with customs regulations and requirements.
* Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor the performance of freight operations.
* Analyze data and performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
* Identify and mitigate risks related to freight operations, including delays, damages, and compliance issues.
* Implement tools, technologies, and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and service quality.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience in freight forwarding operations, with at least [5 years] of experience in a leadership role.
Strong knowledge of international shipping regulations, customs procedures, and freight forwarding processes.
Ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
