Key Responsibilities:
1-Cost Analysis & Monitoring:
*Analyze production costs, including raw materials, labor, and overhead, to ensure they align with budgeted figures.
*Track and monitor costs in real-time and provide regular cost reports to senior management.
*Conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies between actual and expected costs.
*Evaluate cost structures and identify opportunities for improvement in both *direct and indirect costs.
2-Budgeting and Forecasting:
*Prepare detailed cost forecasts and budgets for manufacturing operations.
*Assist in preparing annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
*Ensure cost structures are accurate and provide insights for budget adjustments when necessary.
3-Cost Control Strategies:
*Develop and implement cost-saving strategies without compromising product quality.
*Identify inefficiencies in the production process and suggest improvements.
*Collaborate with production and operations teams to implement best practices in cost control.
*Monitor waste, scrap, and downtime to minimize unnecessary costs.
4-Cost Reporting & Documentation:
*Prepare regular cost reports that are clear, concise, and informative for management.
*Document and communicate cost control procedures and policies across departments.
*Assist with financial audits and provide necessary data to auditors.
5-Process Improvement:
*Collaborate with production teams to implement lean manufacturing and other process improvement methodologies.
*Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing
production costs and improving process efficiency.
6-Compliance and Risk Management:
*Ensure cost control measures align with company policies and compliance standards.
*Identify and manage risks related to cost overruns or inefficiencies.
*Maintain an up-to-date understanding of industry trends and cost-control technologies.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cost control, finance, or operations in a manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with cost accounting and financial reporting.
Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis in a manufacturing setting.
