Job Title: Senior Logistics Specialist

Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Logistics Specialist to oversee and optimize end-to-end logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Logistics Coordination:
• Manage inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Monitor and enhance logistics processes to reduce lead times and operational costs.
2. Compliance and Documentation:
• Ensure adherence to Free Zone regulations, customs requirements, and international trade laws.
• Review shipping documentation, including invoices, packing lists, bills of lading/air waybills, customs declarations, and certificates of origin.
• Coordinate with customs authorities and regulatory bodies to resolve any issues or delays.
3. Vendor and Supplier Management:
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, freight forwarders, and logistics service providers.
• Negotiate competitive rates with service providers to optimize logistics costs.
• Assess service provider performance and ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs).
4. Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting:
• Identify and resolve logistics challenges such as shipment delays, customs clearance issues, and inventory discrepancies.
• Develop contingency plans to mitigate risks and ensure smooth operations.
5. Reporting and Analysis:
• Prepare regular reports on logistics performance and key metrics.
• Analyze data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
Requirements:
• Experience: 5+ years in logistics, supply chain, or a related field.
• Certification: CLTD (Certified in Logistics, Transportation, and Distribution) is preferred.
• Language: Excellent English proficiency.
