We are seeking to hire "Senior AR Accountant"

Job Overview:
The Accounts Receivable Accountant oversees the accounts receivable process, including reviewing invoices, verifying and consolidating transactions, data entry, and account reconciliation. This role ensures accurate financial records, resolves discrepancies, and supports cash flow management in compliance with accounting standards.

Job Duties and tasks:
· Responsible for accounts receivable and reviewing customer invoices.
· Responsible for customer and sales accounts
· Ensure and maintain accounts receivable balances including monthly reconciliation.
· Ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions.
· Ensures that all business transactions are complete with operational policies and procedures.
· Prepares and records revenues.
· Review daily sales by collecting and analyzing data for each account.
· Collect payment from customers and accurately record it into the system.
· Maintain bookkeeping databases and spreadsheets, updating information as needed.
· Communicate with clients and customers to request payment and arrange payment plans.
· Update client accounts based on payment or contact information.
· Verified and posted account transactions, providing weekly and monthly reporting of AR aging to senior management to maintain accounting ledgers.
· Reviewed accounts with credit balances to determine accuracy of refunds.
· Recorded debit, credit and account transactions in computer spreadsheets and databases.
· Prepared bank deposits by verifying and balancing receipts and sending cash and checks to banks.
· Completed and submitted tax forms and returns, workers' comp forms and pension contribution documentation.
· Resolved invalid or unauthorized deductions by following pending deductions procedures.

Job Specifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
· From 4 to 6 years of experience as an Accounts Receivable Accountant.
· Solid knowledge of accounting regulations.
· Excellent Communication and Documentation Skills.
· Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP is preferable.
· Excellent analytical skills.
