Job Vacancy: General Accountant
Location: Egypt
We are looking for an experienced General Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling and overseeing all financial deposit-related tasks within the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and process financial deposits efficiently.
- Monitor daily financial transactions and ensure accuracy.
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
- Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
- Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
- Comply with financial policies and regulations
- Tracking payments to internal and external stakeholders
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
- Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and financial performance metrics to identify risks, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Provide financial analysis, insights, and recommendations to senior management to support business decisions and initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and policies.
- Prepare financial reports and analyses related to deposits.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
- Assist in managing company cash flow and maintaining financial records.
Qualifications:
- Minimum +3 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting.
- Strong understanding of financial principles and deposit processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and SAP System.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Proficient in English and Arabic
