Description Responsibilities for the Operations Officer include but are not limited to the following: Office Management: - Supervise purchasing of office supplies, maintenance of office and payment of office-related bills - Manage the operations assistant and office cleaning personal Human Resources: - Play a critical role in new employee and internship recruitment, on-boarding - maintaining up to date employee benefits, implementation of HR policies and Operations manual Finance: - Responsible for the Cairo Operations budget, monthly payroll, supervising accountant to produce regular financial reports, and implementation of financial policies - Mange relationship with auditors and company lawyer Support programs implantation with local universities and partners: - Manage & Monitor project finance (invoicing, payments schedule, methods of payments, etc) with University partners and manage all legal issues related
Qualifications At least 5 years experience in Operations and/or finance in an NGO or small-business sector, • Ability and strong experience in dealing with different vendors, suppliers and office landlord • Good experience in project management and / or events management • Risk assessment management skills is highly desired • Flexible work style with the ability to work under tight deadlines and shifting priorities, • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in English and Arabic, • Advanced level of proficiency in Excel and Word, • Strong attention to detail, with an ability to perform in a deadline-driven environment, • Independent and self-reliant, with demonstrated ability to work with a multicultural team, • Flexibility, patience, and a sense of humor All applicants must at least have a Bachelor degree or equivalent.
