Description     The Technical Support Coordinator will report to the IT Manager and work closely with the teams located in Egypt and North America to ensure the effective implementation of the organizations programs and activities. Responsibilities Responsibilities for the Technical Support Coordinator include but are not limited to the following: — Troubleshoot and track technical issues — Interact with students participating in online video conferencing sessions and walk them through technical problems — Follow up with the students on any related tech issues during the sessions or after — Record and store sessions — Update database records — Help in administering the databases — Help in the CMS development and adding new functions
Qualifications    • Bachelor’s degree is required • Experience with Windows and Mac-OSX operating systems and standard applications • Experience with web-based applications, experience with online communication (audio/video) applications preferred. • Excellent troubleshooting skills • Experience with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Cloud databases) is highly preferable • Experience with CMS development is highly preferable • Excellent communication and people skills • Ability to learn new software applications quickly • Ability to work within tight deadlines • Detail oriented, self-motivated, punctual, quick-thinking and proactive • Passion for Soliya’s mission and stated goals • Fluency in English required • Fluency in Arabic preferred • Able to work effectively with a small but diverse staff
