Description construct and monitor cost-effective data accumulation systems needed to provide an appropriate level of costing information to management. 1. Prepare cost and expenditure statements and other necessary documentation at regular intervals. Assess cost effectiveness of products, tracking actual costs. Set up cost monitoring and reporting systems and procedures. Conduct special studies to develop and establish standard hour and related cost data or to effect cost reduction. Review material and labor requirements to decide areas of potential cost reduction Develop, maintain, and analyze budgets, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs. Complete monthly financial analysis package for management, detailing financial results. Prepare other cost-related reporting including sales and profitability analysis, monthly sales, manufacturing reports, etc. Complete all month-end requirements including journal entries, reports and analysis as required.
Qualifications Min 7 years of experience in costing University degree in Accounting/Financial.
