Description — Prioritizes and assigns projects based on direction from management and knowledge of the business needs. — Evaluates and verifies employee performance through the review of completed work assignments and work techniques. — Presents and implements technological alternatives to streamline functions and improve productivity —Maintains technology policies, standards and procedures; maintains related technology checklists & Ensures proper security measures have been evaluated and implemented as indicated by company policy. — Support and enhance the organizations custom designed application; support and enhance other database systems and reporting as needed for various areas of the business. — Develop and maintain a change control system for all electronic media and systems. — Effectively communicates relevant IT-related information to management and peers & Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion. — Manages network operations to include: troubleshooting connectivity problems; installing & maintaining routers; adding/terminating users; assigning rights and access; resetting passwords; establishing e-mail addresses; assessing and reporting operational status; performing backups and restores; etc. —Get the right purchase proposition at the right time to support the IT department performance with procurement; requests for quotations or purchase orders to the IT suppliers
Qualifications •Bachelor’s degree in computer science and five years of work •2 years experience in a similar position with minimum 8 years relevant experience. •Experience in computer systems analysis, design and programming including supervisory experience. •Project management certification is desirable but not required. •Any equivalent combination of training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and ability, may qualify.

Other Skills •Knowledge of supervisory and training techniques. •Knowledge of system development methods used for the development of new systems and enhancements to existing information systems. •Knowledge of advanced concepts and basic operating principles of data communications and information systems hardware and software. •Knowledge of advanced principles, theories, techniques, and methods of information system analysis and programming. •Knowledge of data processing and data communications concepts and services. •Knowledge of contemporary and generative programming languages and techniques. •Knowledge of data communication and transaction-based processing. •Knowledge of the operational and technical problems involved in the administration of a specialized program. •Ability to gather and analyze facts, draws conclusions, define problems and suggest solutions.
