Description Job Summary: Responsible for the smooth running of computer systems and ensuring users get maximum benefits from them, maintains computing environment by providing onsite/remote hardware and software system support, install and configure computer systems, diagnose hardware/software faults and solve technical and applications problems. Responsibilities: Install, configure and troubleshooting windows XP, Win 7 and office. Configure applications, system software, hardware, network and local peripherals; diagnose and resolve various equipment problems Provide helpdesk support and resolve problems to users to ensure no work interruptions Monitor quick & effective response to requests received through the IT helpdesk Modify configurations, utilities, software default settings, etc. for the local workstation Perform timely workstation hardware and software upgrades as required Document troubleshooting and problem resolution steps Maintain an adequate spare parts inventory of systems, subsystems, and component parts needed by users and update our inventory sheet. Assist with onboarding of new users, install, test and configure new workstations, peripheral equipment and software May review and evaluate new computer hardware and software products; recommend the implementation of new products.
Qualifications Qualifications: • Bachelors degree from accredited university. • 1-2 years of experience in IT Technical Support with an emphasis on customer support • Knowledge of A+, MCSA is a must. Skills, Knowledge & Abilities: • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows server • Strong technical troubleshooting skills • Must have technical support experience via the phone and via direct customer facing. • Experience of managing a heavy workload, setting priorities as required; excellent time management skills • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills • General applications operational skills (troubleshooting, scripting) is mandatory • Must be team oriented.
