Description Receive claims notifications, ensuring that all necessary documents are provided by the insured and assist in the inspection of claim documents. Receive the claim notifications thru the medical claim officer.- Review clauses, terms, conditions, provisions and exclusions related to insurance policies and its relevant endorsements and make sure that they cover the reported claims.- Ensure accuracy of all processed data and information entered into the company system. Process and enter the notified claims reviewed by medical claim officer and settle the approved and agreed claims, within allocated time frame.
Qualifications Should have been employed in the Medical insurance business/ health provider for at least 2 years, with experience gained in both the medical coding or/and transcription and medical claims aspects of the medical insurance business Ideally will also have, from a recognized body, a professional qualification in insurance/ Nursing (such as CII, HIA, CTP, etc.) with specialization in Health Insurance.
