Description Main Duties —Receives request/ check if it is in conformity with company procurement procedures. —Expedites the purchase of emergency items outside the usual purchasing procedures in order to ensure that operational capability is maintained, and appropriate approvals are obtained. —Follows-up all approved purchases with vendors to ensure that they are delivered in a timely manner and all materials/services comply with technical requirements/specifications. —Prepare preliminary price comparison —Request for technical evaluation (TBE) with attaching price comparison —Ensure compliance to all relevant safety, quality and environmental management procedures and controls within a defined area of General Services Procurement activity to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high quality products/service and a responsible environmental attitude. —Prepares procurement agreements —Arranges for inspection of materials, goods and products before delivery —Arranges for replacement/repair of defaulted defected items (FMS) —Performs any allied tasks assigned Occasional Duties —Prepares reports on previous procurement activities showing vendors, items, prices etc. —Helps in logistics/ shipping for UEE & UHDE —Follows up on outstanding payments —Widening vendor data base
Qualifications -University degree in commercially related discipline or engineering -Standard office Software (Microsoft)

Experience 0 – New Graduate Years.
