Description *To ensure that all daily charges and credits are recorded and processed in a timely fashion in accordance with the Company policies & procedures and local regulations. Assist the Accountants in all stages leading to the preparation of all monthly financial reports and analysis. The job target is to minimize outstanding payments. —Provide an effective system to track Account Receivables for the activities of the Credit Manager. —Provide a summary of the ageing report required by various people in the Finance Division to prepare monthly reports. —Understand the manual for this position, to maintain and update it as required. —Ensure that all transfers through income audit, accounts payable and general ledger do agree with the control amount. —Ensure the accuracy of all charges and credits posted to the individual accounts. —Ensure that the posting of invoices and settlements are up-to-date and that payments are correctly aged. —Process invoices promptly, render interim & monthly statements and follow up reminders on a timely basis. —Monitor and maintain support of all advance deposits and to balance them to the general ledger at end of month. —To have a full working knowledge and capability to supervise, correct and demonstrate all duties and tasks required for the position. —To be proficient with all computer software used in the Finance Division Office.
Qualifications •Holds a Diploma/University Degree in Account credit in Mathematics/Financial Management; preferably from accounting/commerce background. •Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables. •Well developed computer skills. •High degree of integrity. Strong leadership. Nurtures and develops employees, encouraging innovation. •Team player, who values teamwork, has good team building skills and is able to communicate effectively with all levels of employees.
