Description — Expand and increase the diversity of the Connect Programs university network in predominantly Muslim countries; — Identify, build and maintain strong relationships at all levels at universities and partner organizations, including top level leadership; — Identify new, innovative opportunities for growth, including expansion to new market segments, and move rapidly to capitalize on these opportunities; — Strengthen relationships with Soliyas existing network of universities and organizational partners; — Lead the implementation of the partnerships earned‐income strategy in the region; — Develop and cultivate relationship with key team members across the relevant region.
Qualifications • 5+ years of relevant professional experience in areas including marketing, partnership creation and business development required; • Excellent networking and cultivation capacity; a talented communicator with the ability to develop collateral in English and Arabic targeted at various audiences; • Strong ties to the Higher Education sector in predominantly Muslim countries preferred; • Demonstrated ability to understand local context and successfully develop and cultivate relationships with a wide variety of constituents in the Middle East, North Africa and South‐Asia; • Entrepreneurial approach, skilled at identifying and capitalizing on new opportunities; • Strong project and time management skills, able to prioritize and manage multiple complex tasks and projects at a time • Excellent people management skills, able to work both independently and as part of a diverse team; • Excellent writing, presentation and communication skills;
