Description 1- Implements all Sales action plans related to his/her marketing area as outlined in the marketing plan. 2- Assigns major travel function (i.e: trade shows, associations) that deal specifically with his/her marketing area. 3-Establishes and maintains files on major active accounts within his/her marketing area 4- Promotes and produces sales leads for the all company . 5- Plans sales calls, under the direct approval of Director of Sales &Marketing to major marketing areas, calling accounts within their specific marketing area. 6-Provides feedback to the Director of Sales & Marketing on changing marketing conditions, including trends in the competition, as a result of direct sales solicitation, telephone and direct mail, in his/her market areas . 7-Disseminates sales related information to other departments as appropriate. 8- Maintains a high level of exposure in property in major market areas through direct sales solicitation, telephone contacts, and written communications. 9- Establishes and maintains effective employee relations. 10- Performs related duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications College degree or equivalent experience preferred, in a Hospitality and Food & Beverage Sales department or in a local sales or demonstrated sales ability working in other department of (i.e. guest relations department). Demonstrated potential to acquire such management skills as : development of marketing plan and implementation of administrative action plan, planning short and long-range goals, decision making process, leadership and motivation organization ability, sales contracts, research planning, innovation skills (creativity, special promotions).
