Description Job details: Business Analyst, NA, will be reporting to Head of Business Planning Middle East, dotted line with Finance Manager North Africa. He / She will be based in Egypt on job grade 8. Job Purpose: Business Analyst, NA will be responsible for ensuring local JDE systems are reconciled to the MODCF system for both actual as well as ensuring all non JDE transactions like SB14 are uploaded, interfaces are ran at correct timings. In addition to: Ensuring all new products, new cost centres, new strategic projects, all data elements are aligned with finance, marketing, supply chain, commercial by linking into the Project Management Board, & DRM. Major Responsibilities Include: Ensure that the financial information presented in MODCF is correct. Support of the financial module (IP Integrated Planning) in MODCF. Control of Gross Margin through detail management of prices, cost and transfer prices. Execute and analyse in detail Mid Year Review, Forecast 2 and 3/1 Plan, to reach the goals and objectives in relation to establish sales, cost, innovation, A & P (Advertising and Promotion), Operating Expenses, Balance Sheet and Headcount. Analyse and control SB14 and its integrity in line with Unison reporting. (In future alignment to IPT and BISON). Prepare, analyse and consolidate reports that will help management decision making. Provide solutions and tools to the needs of Marketing and Commercial teams. Support the process of Rolling Forecast
Qualifications The candidate should: •Hold a bachelor’s degree with minimum 2-4 years of relevant experience •Have knowledge of Windows, MS Office and Advanced Excel. •Have knowledge of JDE, Cognos, Unison and TM 1 Business Analyst, NA will act as business partner and be able to interact with senior leaders of North Africa region as well as marketing, supply chain and commercial, accordingly he/she should be: •Strong in verbal and written English communication skills and excellent interpersonal and communication skills, •Expert in process improvement opportunities, solving complex problems •Previous CH / FMCG experience is important •Ability to work in a team and under pressure •Have Sense of urgency and high service orientation to the customer
