Description the role holder is accountable for the overall planning, implementation, and optimisation of warehouse and materials control activities at spare parts, finished product and raw materials sites. They will provide leadership and professional guidance in delivering highly end-user focused and cost-effective services that meets the companys operational finished products and raw materials needs. Role holders will need to have excellent planning and target delivery focus and the capability to take the longer-term view and provide input into the development of strategies. Budget Input: Develops and consolidates budget inputs, ensuring adequate provision has been made for the funding of all planned activities, and recommends approval. Monitors performance against approved levels for effective cost control. Organisation Structure & Manpower Plans: Develops and gains approval for organisation structures and manpower plans to meet operational requirements and objectives. Continually monitors progress and priorities and make necessary adjustments to meet changing needs. Procedures Development/Implementation: Initiates development of, and recommends approval for procedures and systems that facilitate the achievement of enhanced efficiency and cost effectiveness and ensure the integrity of all materials data. Commissions continuous reviews to identify enhancement potential.
Qualifications Bachelor Degree in any related discipline. A minimum of 8 years stretching experience in a commercial / industrial enterprise maintenance/production environment with a proven track record at the managerial level Very Good standard of written and spoken English language. Advanced Computer skills.(ERP Oracle Knowledge is a must) Technical Skills Stores Management Resource Management Inventory Trend analysis (Inventory Management) Stock Rotation Stores Space Management Material Handling Material Safety Knowledge HSE Technical Reporting
