Description     Partner daily with the Director of Human Resources in developing, implementing and evaluating ongoing HR policies, programs, functions and activities Performs research and recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to promote continual improvements in efficiency of the department and services performed Offer creative approaches to problem solving utilizing ‘out of the box) ideas and solutions Responsible for keeping the Director informed of any significant and developing situations, updates on projects, employee morale, etc. Support the Human Resources Generalist, Human Resources Representatives, and operations leadership with complex employee relations matters through providing guidance and direction Assume the role and responsibility of the Human Resources Department in the absence of the Director Manage special projects or perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications    Bachelor’s Degree with an emphasis in Human Resources or related field required Masters Degree in Human Resources Management or related field and/or PHR/SPHR certification is a plus Demonstrated progressive HR experience with exposure to a wide variety of different functions within the HR Department. Strong employee relations background dealing with an array of complex situations. Robust background dealing with employment law issues. Ability to have visionary mindset and understanding of how decisions will impact the Companys strategy. Demonstrated accuracy and productivity in a changing/fast paced environment with constant interruptions Professional, pleasant and positive demeanor Ability to handle challenging and stressful situations and respond appropriately with a diplomatic approach Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information and maintain confidentiality where necessary

Other Skills    Must be proficient in Excel, Outlook, Word, Power Point, and general Internet research; previous experience and knowledge of HRIS systems and/or HRIS implementation is a plus.
