The role of our new Research Analyst will be to provide fundamental analysis and quantitative research Building and maintaining financial models as directed Develop investment thesis Monitor existing portfolio holdings as directed Monitor existing portfolio holdings as directed Develop contacts to further industry knowledge. Updating the financial analysis and valuation work in our database Performing ad hoc projects on an as-needed basis. Projects will include due diligence related research, statistical analysis, and industry level analysis Perform other duties as needed and assigned
Qualifications Education Required: Graduate Business or Finance degree preferred. -Accounting qualification CPA, CFA preferred Experience: -3-5 years – of relevant experience Knowledge: -Business modeling approach -Financial modeling approach -IFRS and IAS Knowledge -Macro and micro economy -Business Valuation – Using different Valuation Methodologies -Financial statement analysis -Trading & transaction comparable -Company/industry/macroeconomic analysis Abilities: -Ability to identify required scope of work -Ability to conduct effective presentations -Ability to deliver project outcomes under the supervision of the direct superior in line with the set methodologies. -Ability to conduct research -company, industry, economic
