Description 1. Managing the finance and accounting functions to encourage optimum utilization of its services by all operational departments. These operations include regular preparation and presentation of financial information, and reporting. 2. Responsible for developing and compliance with BIOs accounting requirements, to include, but not limited to, meeting scheduled reporting, special requests for financial information and adherence to BIOs accounting practices and policies. 3. Ensures the accuracy of accounting records and reports through effective recording, auditing, verification and processing of data. 4. Provides the analysis and explanations on growth, liquidity, costing, and profitability using financial ratios and comparative figures. 5. Supervises the processes of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, credit, and collections. 6. Supervises the processes of closing the books at the end of each month, quarter, and the fiscal year in a timely fashion. 7. Directs all cost accounting activities and supervises the preparation of actual vs. budget reports and their use in cost CEO and Board of Directors. 8. Analyzes BIOs financial and operational performance to identify new opportunities for improvements and emphasizes actions for such improvements and cost-saving. 9. Develops and prescribes accounting and reporting principles, policies and practices, for use throughout BIO, which are sound and conform to Egyptian Accounting Standards and International Accounting Standards. 10. Ensures timely and effective financial accounting and places key performance indicators to measure financial and operational targets, and identification of variances from budgets and prior period actual. 11. Prescribes adequate systems of internal control such as to ensure proper stewardship of assets and to assure accuracy, and adequacy of accounting records and documentation, including appropriate business processes, manuals and standard practice instruction.

Other Skills 12. Directs and determines depreciation rates to apply to capital assets. 13. Approves reconciliation, adjustments, and credit/debit notes for accounts payable, in accordance with the Delegation of Authority Matrix. 14. Approves all advance payments and cash on delivery, in accordance with the Delegation of Authority Matrix. 15. Reviews and approves deleting and modifying main accounts, and developing new financial report formats. 16. Reviews all audited financial statements and external audit packages and presents analyses and conclusions to CEO and Board of Directors. 17. Provides effective BIO Tax planning to CEO and Board of Directors and ensures compliance. 18. Reviews aging of receivables on a monthly basis and initiates appropriate actions to enhance collection.
