Description Managing: — Manage the following direct reports : Shift Safety Supervisors, HSE inspectors, Environment Engineer. — Support or implement programs to raise the understanding of employees of the companys mission and key success factors — Support or implement programs that will motivate employees to practice the companys values. — Establish the policies, guidelines and procedures for the following processes: Occupational Health & Safety, Environment Protection Planning: — Organize the preparation of the annual budget for the Health, Safety, Environment department for the site. — Prepare the site HSE Objectives and Programs. — Ensure the implementation of performance planning and performance reviews among employees of the Health, Safety, Environment, Security and CSR department. — Work with NLS Training Department to train employees on Health, Safety, Environment, Security & CSR. — Conduct periodic review of accomplishments of the Health, Safety, Environment, department against key results and implement corrective actions accordingly. — Plan and implement the requirements of the companys Integrated Management System for Quality, Health & Safety, and Environment that are relevant to Health, Safety, Environment, Security and CSR Management. Collaboration: — Work with the other departments to ensure implementation of all Procedures and Work Instructions related to the Health, Safety & Environment. — Responsible for implementation of NLS procedures and Work instructions that are applicable for the Health, Safety & Environment department. — Ensure that obligations of the company in its contracts with its customers, that the Health, Safety, Environment, are fulfilled in a timely manner. — Ensures compliance of the other departments with the Health Safety and Environment procedures and work instructions like and not limited to: Permit to Work, HIRAC, CSE, LOTOTO, Contractor Safety, equipment safety inspections etc.
Qualifications University Graduate, preferably from a science degree, or • Certified Safety professional from a recognized certification body • Preferably science degree • Min 10 to 15 years of experience in the same field. • Min 2 years in the same position • Mastery knowledge by the operation & process. • Knowledgeable by local laws and regulations. • All Safety tools • Measurement Equipment • Sound Level meters • Multi gas mentor
