Description Reviews prescriptions issued by physicians, to assure accuracy and determine formulas and ingredients needed. II. Dispenses prescribed medications, drugs, and other pharmaceuticals for both inpatient and outpatient. III. Compounds medications, using standard formulas and processes such as weighing, measuring, and mixing ingredients. IV. Answers questions and provides information to pharmacy customers on drug interactions, side effects, dosage and storage of pharmaceuticals. V. Maintains established procedures concerning quality assurance, security of controlled substances, and disposal of hazards waste drugs. VI. Conducts inventory on pharmaceutical supplies. VII. Orders pharmacy supplies. VIII. Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
Qualifications I. Bachelor’s degree of Pharmacy. II. 3 years of experience that is directly related to the duties described herein. III. Very good command of English language. IV. Ability to communicate clearly in oral and written form. V. Extensive knowledge of drug products, medical therapeutics, and pharmacokinetics.
