Description 1.Have discussions with the owner or sponsor to understand and define exactly what is required. 2.Agree on the scope, timescale and budgets and the quality standards required. 3.Develop a detailed project plan. 4.Working out the resources required and how many people are needed to do a job. 5.Setting standards for quality. 6.Select and lead a project team - projects usually involve several professionals working together whom each contribute their project management expertise. 7.Approach external contractors and negotiate with them for the supply of materials and services. 8.Monitor the project progress reports constantly to make sure that it is progressing on time, to budget and to the necessary quality standards . 9.Meet the owner or sponsor regularly to report on the projects progress. 10.May design and arrange training for the client. 11.Set the overall project procedures and work standards. 12.Set the overall project objectives in line with the overall company strategic direction. 13.Prioritize and set targets to be achieved within specific time frames. 14.Identify the project budget and other resources needed to achieve the desired objectives. 15.Direct the project members on the best practices of performing the job tasks. 16.Review progress and identify performance deviation. 17.Identify the reports needed, to help collect and analyze various data. 18.Spot patterns and relationships that yield to an understanding of a situation or solving problems. 19.produce reports to monitor results. 20.present recommendations to senior management based on his / her findings. 21.Set a development plan for the team members and identify tailored training programs with respect to the position core competencies and duties. 22.Apply a succession plan by identifying potential managers and excel them into special managerial training programs. 23.Motivate the department members and apply a successful compensation and incentive system according to performance.
Qualifications 1.Have an understanding of budgetary control. 2.have strong leadership skills. 3.be skilled at negotiation. 4.be capable of understanding complex information. 5.be able to work on several projects at the same time. 6.have a desire to achieve. 7.to use his / her initiative. 8.the ability to motivate and lead staff . 9.have the ability to delegate where appropriate. 10.be effective at all round business skills. 11.be numerate, and able to analyze and interpret information. 12.be persuasive in order to influence people . 13.to be excellent organizers and problem-solvers . 14.good written and spoken communication skills. 15.a smart appearance. 16.foreign language skills.
