Description Supply Chain Management Education and Training Programs. - Assess local business units against maturity criteria related to SCM processes and effectiveness in delivering results. Do this through a detailed on-site, cross-functional maturity assessment process; as well as a detailed analysis of SCM and overall business key performance indicators. - Collaborate with the local business unit general management to create improvement plans based on the maturity assessment results. - Drive, support and project manage the implementation of those improvement plans. Typical projects may involve but will not be limited to: - Operational procurement efficiency/effectiveness - SCM organizational design - Supply risk management - SCM process and policy optimization - Sourcing strategy optimization, in cooperation with category management teams - Material planning and scheduling, and optimization of ERP parameters for purchased materials - Measure and report the resulting performance improvement, and leverage and share lessons learned with colleagues around the world. - Select units for targeted improvement based on an ongoing analytical assessment of business unit performance KPIs - Prioritize work based on maturity assessment results, KPIs and improvement potential - As a functional expert, provide input and play an active role in developing the standard managerial, strategic and operational processes of SCM. - Continuously stay up-to-date on current trends and best practices in supply chain management
Qualifications Consulting experience with demonstrated success is preferred Strong influencing skills and ability to build lasting relationships across multiple layers in the organization and able to gain respect of cross functional organization. Proven success in driving performance improvements in a multi-cultural environment Demonstrated ability to tactfully challenge the status quo.-Ability to manage and execute multiple complex projects simultaneously.-Demonstrated ability to “sell” one’s ideas to others in a very diverse, multicultural business environment. A self-starter with a high degree of motivation who can work with minimal direct supervision. Preferred education level MBA or MSC with a focus on Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical engineering or Project Management- Excellent written and spoken English language skills. Additional language skills are a plus.-PMI/PMP Certification is a plus.
