Description — Assist in evaluating and providing reasonable assurance that risk management, control, and governance systems are functioning as intended and will enable the organizations objectives and goals to be met — Participate in reporting risk management issues and internal controls deficiencies identified directly to the audit committee and provides recommendations for improving the organizations operations, in terms of both efficient and effective performance. — Perform regular visits to work sites. — Participate in financial, operational and compliance audits according to the Internal Audit Department Annual Plan. — Contribute in drafting reports with audit findings and recommendations. — Monitor/Follow up replies from process owners to ensure that necessary action is taken to improve working practices and mitigate risks.
Qualifications • A Bachelor degree preferably in Accounting, Finance or Business with 2 years of hands on experience in a similar role. • Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) designation is preferred. • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook and Visio (Preferable to have experience with Oracle).
