Description Primary Roles and Responsibilities: - Full lifecycle application development. - Designing, coding and debugging applications in various software languages. - Software analysis, code analysis, requirements analysis, software review, identification of code metrics, system risk analysis, software reliability analysis - Performance tuning, improvement, balancing, usability, automation.
Qualifications How to qualify: • BS in Computer Science (or similar). • 5+ years Java J2EE programming experience. • 2+ years experience with Spring Framework, Hibernate experience, JPA or JDO. • 2+ years experience with SQL. • 2+ years Experience with JUnit testing. • 3+ years Experience developing web service applications. • Experience utilizing Java with some or all of the following technologies: J2SE, J2EE, JavaFX, JSF, Servlets, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML, AJAX, JSON. Assets: • Experience with WebSphere or GlassFish. • Experience with Eclipse. • Experience with JAMon. • Experience with UNIX or Linux. • Experience with JQuery. Non-technical qualifications: - Excellent and effective communication skills. - Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to meet tight time-lines. - Ability to work and thrive in a physically disperse team environment. - Flexible working hours.
