Description To directly contribute to British Council Egypts strategy of reaching millions of Egyptians through its work and to building positive perceptions of the British Council and the UK. To do this by developing and delivering effective communications to build staff and customers understanding of, and engagement with, the British Council. To develop and implement an external and internal communications delivery plan for Egypt in line with British Council Strategy, in support to country management and individual teams. To manage the effective delivery of external communications to local and regional media and to monitor and analyse media coverage.
Qualifications 4 years’ experience within an organisation in a communications, role (including editing and copywriting): -At least one year’s experience of which must be in a supervisory capacity. -At least one year’s experience of which must be in communicating large scale program activity to media, corporate and government stakeholders, showing evidence of being able to plan, deliver and work across an interdisciplinary team. -At least one year’s experience of which must be in managing media contacts. -University degree or equivalent -Good presentation skills
