Set up lab as instructed by the electronics staff (Engineering Professor and Dr. Essam Elkaramany). Record and keep logs of issues and incidents that take place for learning purposes. Liaise with the Health and Safety Manager to implement the H&S measures and report any breaches or hazardous situations. Provide technical support for Lab users. Including all hardware, software and mechanical design and development. Handle administrative duties related to the Lab and ensure the work environment is safe and well maintained at all times. Including ordering all supplies and lab consumables. Prepare reports, deliver presentations, or participate in program review activities to communicate engineering results or recommendations. Handle storage, order equipment and supplies when needed and Ensure that all equipment are in perfect conditions and are well maintained. Coordinate or supervise the work of suppliers or vendors in the designing, building, or testing of Space & communication devices.
Qualifications 7-10 years of experience in a similar environment e.g electronics design and manufacturing companies. Maintenance & Troubleshooting of electromechanical equipment. Strong existing computer skills with Microsoft Office and general Internet and electronic communications.
