Maintain database of foreign supplier’s contacts. Follow up with suppliers to deliver goods in time. Negotiate with suppliers to get competitive prices and to reach better payment terms. Communicate with suppliers to get required documents for Clearance & Shipping Conditions. Follow up the bank procedures such as issuing L/Cs and L/Gs. Reach the best freight rate & amending shipping types in order to reach ideal availability with the lowest cost & minimum delivery time. Shipments follow up In order to reduce lead time & avoid delivery obstacles. Study alternatives to obtain unavailable items & search for new suppliers. Periodically evaluate suppliers to reach the best Performance
Qualifications BSc. Degree, preferable Commerce “Foreign Trade or Business Administration”. 2-5 years of experience in the same field. Very good computer skills, “SAP Awareness will be an asset”. Very good Communication & Negotiation Skills
