Responsible for purchasing packaging Machines, materials and equipment required by the company at the optimum quality and price and in accordance with policies and procedures Manage and follow up local and foreign orders Plan purchasing activities and Control purchasing budgets Performing cost benefit analysis and identifying cost efficiencies and savings opportunities. Analyze market and Prepare reports regarding market Develop cost model, purchasing files and price lists Maintain and build suppliers pool and analyze supplier Receive and analyze purchase requests prior to commitment to ensure they are in accordance with policies and procedures and they are not already a stocked items and Locate vendors of materials or supplies and interview them to determine product availability and terms of sales Select and negotiate for the best purchase package Prepare and process purchase orders and documents in accordance with company policies and procedures. Sending purchase orders to suppliers and receiving suppliers’ invoices Coordinate with suppliers to ensure on time delivery and Respond to supplier inquiries about order status changes or cancellations. Issue purchase report reflecting the status of purchase orders opened and closed ones.
Qualifications Minimum 7 years in Purchasing At least 3 years in packaging equipment or packaging spare parts Excellent in English and Ms Office Excellent decision making and negotiation skills
