The Senior Editor will be responsible for commissioning, editing and reviewing research highlights, news and features in English. They will work with their team to produce articles of the highest quality to meet our standards. They will be closely involved in the portal’s growth, maximizing its regional impact and for publishing articles on the online portal.
Qualifications 1. Fluent in both English and Arabic 2. A minimum of one years’ editorial experience in journalism, preferably writing or editing science-related articles 3. The ability to work and communicate with scientists and to read and understand scientific papers 4. Sound understanding and interest in biological and physical sciences 5. Good grasp of new media tools and social networks 6. Ability to work constructively within a team A bachelor of science degree or an equivalent or higher with a science major is highly recommended.
