Searches for suppliers based on price, quality, selection, service, support, availability, reliability, production and distribution capabilities, and the suppliers reputation and history. • Buys better quality supplies in bulk and distributes them to multiple locations. • Analyzes price proposals and other data and information to determine reasonable prices. • Prepares purchase orders, solicit bid proposals and review requisitions for materials or merchandise. • Issues purchase order as needed ensuring on time delivery of the required quantities after having the necessary approvals. • Reviews and follows up on all purchase orders made with all concerned parties/departments. • Checks the market prices regularly to evaluate the open contracts prices. • Collects the invoice and the receiving documents and prepares them for the purchasing Manager approval. • Submits the collected payment documents to finance after having all approvals •Issues purchase report reflecting the status of purchase orders opened and closed ones. -Customs release of shipments from MOH
Qualifications BSc. of science or pharmacy or chemist, 1-3 years experience, Computer skills, flexibility, effective communication skills, Ability to solve problems
