Provides guidance, leadership and oversight to Budgeting & Costing Control staff to ensure compliance with the overall objectives and quality standards of the department. Prioritizes, coordinates, and allocates work assignments to staff, and resolves day-to-day staffing problems and issues. Develops an effective training plan for his/her staff members and ensures its execution. Ensures the appropriate and fair Execution of the performance appraisal process among the Budgeting & Costing Control staff. · Coordinates with departments heads in order to monitor and control the; budget for each department. Communicates the required reports to his subordinates in accordance with top managements requirements. Reviews the daily, monthly, quarterly, and year end reports related to the costing function. Monitors the actual expenses against budget and presents to top management any budget variance along with justification. Provides the financial analysis and explanations on the companys growth, liquidity, financial stability, and profitability through the use of financial ratios and comparative figures. , Coordinates with the other departments to obtain justification for budget variations from the costing reports and departments heads. " Assumes responsibility relating to preparation of the budgetary function. In addition, to providing support to department heads in the preparation of their budgets. ) Installs cost control procedures and provides supervision over cost systems and methods. Provides statistical and accounting data and communicate to management on operating results in terms of costs, budgets, and trends.
Qualifications University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or equivalent work experience; Approximately 7-10 years of related experience including 3 to 6 years related experience in cost accounting and budget preparation and analysis; Professional certificate (e.g. CMA, and CPA) is preferable; Must be analytically minded and accurate with figures and think logically and systematically; Extensive use of computer applications such as spreadsheets and graphic applications. Experience in accounting packages is recommended; Excellent judgment, tact, and decision-making ability; Exceptional management, interpersonal, communication, and organizationa1 skills; Proficiency in both English and Arabic languages; and Proven track record.
