Purpose: The Assistant Manager, HR will assist the Head of HR in designing, implementing, maintaining and continuously updating the processes, structure, policies and procedures of all HR functions across the university campuses and headquarters. Principal Accountabilities: • Works with the Head of HR to review, update, continuously improve and apply all the current practices, policies & procedures. • Helps the Head of HR in implementing the process of Job Analysis to create Job Descriptions for all Staff. • Implements the new Recruitment process for University’s Staff. • Helps the Head of HR in developing and implementing a new performance management system. • Assists the Head of HR in creating and periodically updating Organization Charts. • Assists the Head of HR in developing and creating a full benefits program for the university staff. • Implements newly launched benefits programs. • Works with the Head of HR in implementing the process of Job Evaluation, salary surveys and design and creation of salary structure and pay levels. • Works with the head of HR to perform a proper TNA and facilitate the needed trainings, through an annual training plan, for university staff. • Updates the system and generates reports as required. • Takes part in other HR based tasks and projects as assigned.
Qualifications Requirements: Minimum education requirement: - BA in any relevant field - HR Diploma/Certification Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources. Skills: • Advanced knowledge of Ms. Office applications and ability to work on ERP database systems (previous experience in Microsoft Dynamics AX is preferred) • Very good communication skills
