Ensures the implementation of the department objectives according to the finance strategy. Monitors the execution of the Treasury functions and ensures that it delivers the required functionality in time and with the agreed quality. Ensures the appropriate and fair execution of the performance appraisal process among the treasury staff. Directs, supervises, and monitors the treasury function at SRPC which includes cash management, investment management, risk management and debt management. Determine the efforts of SRPC plans and budgets on the financing requirements and ensures availability of funds. Markets specifically currency fluctuations, interest rates, and suggest appropriate course of action. Maintains the relationship with banks and other lending institutions and leads the negotiations of low cost funds. Maintains list of authorized bank signatories as approved by the Board of Directors (BoD). Provides risk management services reducing exposure to interest and foreign exchange rate risks. Manages daily cash positioning, tracks the debt balances, payments and corresponding interest payments, and identifies the cash deficit and surplus. Consolidates debt management and monitors repayment of loans and debt service (interest payments). In coordination with the Bank Facilities Supervisor, prepares projected cash flow statements including the projected bank facility requirements and timings and ensures that cash deficit is covered. Evaluates the different financing options (Loans, overdraft, letter of credit and letter of guarantee), and advises on the optimum ones. Prepares a monthly consolidated facilities position and reports it to the CFO in coordination with the Financial Controller, manages and monitors SRPCs short term investments (cash time deposits) as well as the long term investments.
Qualifications University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or equivalent work experience; Approximately 7 -10 years of related experience; • Professional certificate (e.g. CFA) or master degree in a related discipline is preferable; • Knowledge of computerized accounting systems; • Must be analytically minded and accurate with figures and think logically and systematically; • Excellent judgment, tact, and decision-making ability; • Exceptional management, interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills; • Proficiency in both English and Arabic languages; and Proven track record
