Job Level Executive/ Director
Supervises the day-to-day operations of Engineering Department to ensure that work processes are implemented as designed and comply with established policies, processes and procedures - To liaise with the Manufacturing Department, in order to maintain plant process, utilities and equipment so that output targets and technical performance are attained within agreed budgets. - Ensures that preventive electrical, instrumentation, mechanical maintenance, utilities and vehicle workshop maintenance are planned and controlled. - Ensures that the engineering workforce is properly organised, motivated and trained, particularly in respect of the introduction of new technology, and in maintaining plant safety, safe working practices and product quality assurance standards. Ensure personnel are developed to achieve their full potential. - Ensure that all planned site projects are fulfilled within the agreed budget & time frames. - Ensures that the materials, including spare parts, required for maintenance and projects are properly determined and specified for procurement by the Purchasing Department. - Initiate a plan that identifies site current operational capability, capacity and infrastructure, and forecasts future state on a medium and long term basis based on information available at the time of writing (Site Master Plan).
Qualifications - 20 years relevant experience in engineering including at least 5 years in positions of progressively increasing managerial responsibilities
