Manages the day-to-day operations of the company Warehouses in order to ensure that work processes are implemented as designed and comply with established policies, processes and procedures Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures. Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results. Ensure & organize best utilization of warehouse capacity, establishing best warehousing systems in order to guarantee well applied storage procedures. Organize and prepare monthly physical stock taking, ensuring right stocks are in place in a well manner. Complies with, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions. Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols. Prepare reports timely and accurately to meet the company and department requirements, policies and standards. Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement. Planning future warehouse capacity requirements. Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security Motivating, organizing and encouraging Staff within the workforce to ensure productivity targets are met or exceeded. Participate in staff recruitment, selection and training.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in commerce or Industrial Engineering. 6-8 years relevant experience in the same field including at least 3 years in in a supervisory position. Supervision of operations in a large warehouse Leading W/H department teams. Inventory management knowledge. Warehouse layout & space utilization, material handling, warehousing. Control of finished product & packing materials reporting & recording systems. Warehouse safety standard & identify the ( JSA , JSP ) Storage / Dispatch standard processes i.e. ( FIFO , GMP ). Full awareness of warehouse operations & devolving the related SOP’s & KPI’s. Understanding warehouse resources, layout and space utilization. Warehouse reporting systems & processes and inventory management knowledge. Previous experience in SAP.
