Description Assist and support employees in the use of information systems, including: investigation, analysis & resolution of a range of technical and non- technical problems. generate business reports. install and update some software. —Provide training to users on information systems within use in the department to facilitate the use of information technology as a working tool and enhance the companys automation level. —Assist in the production of training and administration guidelines and other manual records as required to support systems, procedures and training within the department. —Run test programs, check results & undertake acceptance testing for software releases, new modules & systems. Test training documentation. —Consults with users to define information systems requirements, identify programming and output needs, and verify preliminary design and output of a limited scope. —Recommends technical design and procedures for new or revised applications including flow charts, system specifications, and programming guidelines. —Writes computer code and/or modifies system tables and setting to create application programs or reports that meet user/customer needs, and performs the adequate testing. —Participate in IT Helpdesk activities. —Recommends technical training for company staff members. —Assist users in complying with the company policies & procedures. —Act as a backup for other IT Staff when asked to do so.
Qualifications A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or MIS experienced in supporting Oracle EBS & SQL-Based Financial & Business Management Applications.
