Description PRIMAY DUTIES: Settling the reimbursement claims (which includes cheque preparation, cheque deliveries and reconciliation in Tatsh) Provide professional correspondence with insured members and insurance companies internally and externally (i.e. insurance companies and their clients related with claims) Explain billing invoices and accounting policies to staff, vendors and clients as required Provide assistance to senior accountant on his absence which includes settling the network claims, distribution of salaries, following up the receivables, petty cash, bank reconciliation, payables and filing documents. Resolve accounting discrepancies. Record and document financial transactions Recommend, develop and maintain financial data bases, computer software systems and manual filing systems. Monitor financial transactions to determine accuracy, completeness and conformance to established policies and procedures and generally accepted accounting standards
Qualifications • Relevant University Degree • 2+ years experience as an accountant • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (including Word, Access, Power Point, Excel, Outlook, and general Internet and research skills) • Accurate and strongly analytical • Show communication and time management skills. • Able to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and practices Strong negotiation, communication, attention to detail, time management skills. Capable of perceiving problems as they develop and communicating such to their immediate superior
