Description Identify potential risks to system processes, functionality and data and create alternative solutions to either mitigate or remove system threats — Prepare technical reports and recommend new technologies to branch members and management, visiting representatives from government or allied organizations, and to Senior Executive members. — Validate proper implementation of a new system and provide updates to system documentation and training materials as needed — May be requested to conduct code reviews to ensure accuracy to technical specifications. — Collaborate with software developers and other end-users to ensure technical compatibility and support of the system requirements and technical specifications; interpret vendor specifications and determine impact on existing applications and processes — Reviews problems, understanding the major impacts to technical and business-related areas, and provides basic recommendations and solutions that can be implemented to correct the problem. — Develops solution by preparing and evaluating alternative workflow solutions. — Evaluate and identify new technologies for implementation and suggests technical alternatives to improve/streamline processes and systems — Continues to enhance technical knowledge and capabilities to develop a comprehensive understanding of assigned systems. — Must be able to work multiple projects concurrently and shift priorities as required to meet business requirements and deadlines.
Qualifications • The candidate must have high integrity, a strong work ethic, and be a team player • Inter-personal skills • Must be reliable, proactive, results-oriented, customer-focused and attentive to details • Demonstrated experience with cross-team collaboration, guiding technical staff and engaging various project stakeholder audiences on medium to large scale IT projects • Proven understanding of application architecture governance and relational database structures and the ability to use reporting/querying tools and construct SQL statements • Advanced software development methodologies, tools and environments, such as the Rational Unified Process (RUP), Unified Modeling Language (UML) and other modeling tools, Storyboarding & mockups tools, automatically documentation tools, and so on.

Other Skills • Knowledge of ISO Standards. • Experience with Microsoft TFS. • Self-starter with leadership skills in order to take charge of or facilitate requirement-gathering sessions.
