Description     As a key member of the Program Development and Quality (PDQ) team you take shared responsibility for the transformation to an operating model and culture of accountability, learning, and quality while supporting delivery of Save the Childrens strategy within the country. Specifically, you will be responsible to lead the Egypt CO through: — General training, capacity building and support to Country Office (CO) staff and project partners on program and country level monitoring including Save the Childrens Global Indicators, Total Reach, Advocacy Measurement Tool and qualitative information for specific thematic areas (Education, Health, Child Rights Governance, etc.); — And support the Egypt CO to: o Meet or exceed the ‘Operation Quality– for MEAL; o Apply Standard Operating Procedures; o Understand and implement any MEAL initiatives; o Demonstrate impact and outcomes for children and youth; o Create a culture of accountability and learning; o Promote the evidence based culture cross cutting the country programs
Qualifications    •Significant expertise in Monitoring and Evaluation, with experience working in complex matrix managed organizational structures in both development and emergency contexts; •Successful track record of implementing simple and effective M&E approaches and systems, including data collection and management; •Excellent facilitation skills, and experience developing program staff skills with different backgrounds and levels of expertise; •Culturally sensitive with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including ability to coach and mentor; •Experience building networks at field and senior levels; •Fluency in written and spoken English and Arabic required; •Exceptional knowledge and skills in Excel and SPSS; •A degree in the field of M&E (knowledge management, evaluation), statistics, public policy or in a field relevant to the organisations thematic focus (child protection, livelihoods, nutrition, health, education) a plus •Ability to travel approximately 30% of time
