Description The Emergency Child protection/Education Project Manager will play a lead role in planning, coordinating, implementing and monitoring a child protection/Education project with Save the Children International (SCI). S/he will have significant responsibility for delivery of timely results and for coordination with governmental, Partners and community stakeholders. This role will also bear responsibility for developing Partners capacity and mobilizing support for policy change related to children at risk.
Qualifications •Bachelor’s degree •Minimum of 6-10 years of working experience in Child Protection/Education In both Emergency and Development contexts •Proven knowledge and skills in project planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation •Evidence of analytical understanding and a commitment to improving child rights and education •Good training and facilitation skills •Strong government relations and networking skills are desirable •Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills •Strong results orientation, with the ability to challenge existing mindsets •Experience of solving issues through analysis, definition of a clear way forward •Fluency in Arabic and English is required •Report writing skills in English required •Knowledge of Child Protection / Education issues as they relate to child refugees in emergency setting. •Commitment to Save the Children values.
