Description The Program Assistant will have the responsibility of the coordination and implementation of project activities and provide support to the health team as required. S/he will play a role in technical planning, financial and administrative coordination and ensuring that project activities are implemented according to work plans. S/he will be responsible for monitoring and delivery of quality and timely results as well as for liaising with stakeholders.
Qualifications • Relevant university degree with a minimum of 2-3 years of successful experience in project implementation with a reputed organization or NGO. • Proven knowledge and skills in project planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation. • Experience working through/with sub grants, consultants and local partners. • Good knowledge and familiarity of reporting mechanisms and styles. • Understanding and a commitment to improving health conditions of children in target communities. • Good training and facilitation skills. • Strong networking skills. • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills including influencing and negotiation. • Strong results orientation, with the ability to challenge existing mindsets. • Very good computer skills. • Good working knowledge of English and Arabic (reading and writing) • Good knowledge of child safeguarding will be an added advantage. • Commitment to Save the Children values.
