Description — Set up web applications that support current OUDs operational functions — Code using PHP in order to customize and tail web solutions — Monitor & administer OUD web server and along with sites performance and troubleshooting issues. ● Research for new Open Source web applications that suits OUD operational functions and deploy new them and write manuals for users ‘OUD staff– ● Take an active role in designing, implementing and maintaining a scalable open source environment. ● Administer Debian web server, Apache web server and MySQL Server ● Linux system updates and software installation (yum, apt-get, etc.) ● Deploy Joomla, Drupal & Wordpress System updates. ● Evaluate and propose new or improved system architecture. ● Document system configuration, processes, and procedures.
Qualifications ● Very highly active personality • Outstanding positive attitude • Self-starter • Competent HTML/CSS/Javascript coding abilities - including the latest standards (HTML5, CSS3) and Web 2.0 / AJAX • Experience with Unix operating system (Ubuntu) • Experience with MySQL including writing advanced SQL queries and performance tuning • Experience with web server administration experience • Strong experience with CMSs such as Joomla, Wordpress or Drupal • Good graphics skills • Excellent Verbal and written communication skills • Strong problem solving skills
