Description —Creating, amending and monitoring of software: correcting errors and re-testing to achieve an error free result in conjunction with QA team. —Ensuring documentation of all work in accordance with agreed standards. —Undertaking quality assurance of team and 3rd parties, leading code and architectural reviews. —Monitoring the performance of systems, processes and software under development and used in the company. —Working in conjunction with other team members to deploy software upgrades under approved change control procedures, ensuring the delivery of updated software is completed to agreed timescales with full agreement and communication with business. —Ensure that all software development adheres to company security standards, and that there are no internal or external breaches to data. —Works with business and analysis teams to investigate and model business functions, processes, information flows and data structures, using methodical and consistent techniques
Qualifications •3 + years’ experience in a technical leadership position• Ability to work independently at times and taking into account the needs of the situation, priorities, constraints and the availability of necessary information. •Ability to demonstrate software development and design capabilities. •Experience of people management and the ability to lead and influence others •Excellent understanding of software development approaches and methodologies including Agile (Kanban , Scrum, TDD), CMMI and ITIL •Excellent understanding and exposure to Team Foundation Server and ALM.• Experience with Desktop development technologies including .Net 5, WPF, WCF and Multicore programming •Experience with Mobile development technologies including WP8, Android and iOS. •Experience with Web development technologies including ASP.NET, MVC4, JavaScript, AJAX, JQuery and CSS •Experience with database development including relational database design, SQL, ORM and entity framework technologies
