Description Carry out overall architectural design coordination of the project, from schematic design and through detailed shop drawings, utilizing the project team and other resources within the firm -Develop and produce design schemes which we consider to be viable in terms of built ability and in terms of local authority guidelines, planning structures and building legislation. -Develop the design to detail and to produce all necessary detailed construction drawings, diagrams specifications and schedules etc. to enable the building contractor to carry out the works to a satisfactory standard. -Integrate and coordinate all related disciplines into the project. -Work with the Projects Manager to develop and implement the Quality Assurance Plan for the project. -Maintain communication with the Project Team and keep the team up to date on any decisions that may affect the design, schedule, consulting fees, or construction budget. -Properly maintain project records. -Provide leadership, training, and mentorship to intermediate and junior staff. - Other duties will be assigned.
Qualifications Bachelor or Master degree holder With more than 6 years solid experience in architectural design, drafting, detailing, coordination and monitoring. -Can handle Project Documents/Drawing Coordination (Specifications, Bill of Quantities & other Technical data – MEP & Structural). -Possess a strong visual awareness and an eye for detail, have good drawing skills, with the ability to work in applicable software. -Be inventive and imaginative, be passionate about buildings and the built environment. -Possess good communication skills, self-motivated and can deal with different people. -Strong leadership and analytical skills. -Independent and can work with less supervision. - Efficient, hardworking and can work under pressure. -Computer package and AutoCAD professional. -Rivet experience is an asset.
